Sickness in EASY

Managers should record sickness absence on the first day of absence and return to work as soon as possible to ensure sick pay and absence statistics are correct. Managers can view, and report on, historic sickness and absence patterns.

Don't forget to end the sickness on return to work and to have a return to work discussion with the employee.

Requesting and approving annual leave in EASY

Annual leave records move to EASY on 1st April 2017. Managers are confirming entitlements during the implementation phase (February/March) and will be advised when records are live for employees to access. At this point employees will be able to enter their carry forward and any leave already booked for the coming year. With effect from annual leave year starting 1st April 2017 the new booking and approving process comes into effect.

Recording annual leave taken up to 31st March 2017 in EASY

Annual leave taken up to and including 31st March 2017 should be recorded in EASY. This generates the AFC average payment due. With effect from 1st of April 2017 the new booking and approving process comes into effect. Go to the drop down above for more information.

Special Leave in EASY

Managers should record unpaid special leave on the first day of absence to avoid any overpayment and close on return. Paid leave may be recorded once the leave period is completed.
