EASY

EASY is the electronic timesheet and on-call claim system NHSBT uses for employee claims for payment of enhancements (unsocial hours payments), on-call and overtime in line with AfC Ts & Cs, Medical Ts & Cs and NHSBT’s own local working arrangements and pay agreements.

Claims are reimbursed with monthly salary payments.

Managers record absence in EASY; including sickness, special leave (paid and unpaid) and annual leave taken. As of December 1st 2018 - employees now claim expenses through the EASY system.

If you need to delegate access to a colleague whilst you are away from the office, follow this guide.

Absence in EASY

Managers should record sickness absence on the first day of absence and return to work as soon as possible to ensure sick pay and absence statistics are correct. Managers can view, and report on, historic sickness and absence patterns.

Requesting and approving annual leave in EASY

Annual leave records move to EASY on 1st April 2017. Managers are confirming entitlements during the implementation phase (February/March) and will be advised when records are live for employees to access. At this point employees will be able to enter their carry forward and any leave already booked for the coming year. With effect from annual leave year starting 1st April 2017 the new booking and approving process comes into effect.
