What are my responsibilities as a redeployee?
- Actively engage with the redeployment process and comply with the requirements set out in the Organisational Change Policy
- To actively seek reasonable alternative employment, being as open minded as possible in relation to job roles, work locations and developing new skills
- Register on NHSBT's e-Recruitment system and set up alerts for suitable jobs
- Request, activate and use your NHS Jobs restricted account to look regularly for jobs in other NHS Organisations applying either through NHS Jobs itself or via the organisation’s own recruitment portal when routed there from NHS Jobs - for more information see what support is available
- Regularly check for NHSBT vacancies advertised on NHSBT’s e-recruitment portal updated every Wednesday and Friday by 5.30pm, and apply for vacancies ensuring you indicate within your application that you are a redeployee so that relevant priority is given
- Accept any offer of suitable alternative employment
- Inform HR Direct of any applications made to any NHS organisations, so contact can be made to check if any preference would be granted
- Attend any redeployment presentations, workshops or one to one meetings
