Which Agenda for Change (AfC)/NHS Terms and Conditions are you looking for?

England

The NHS Staff Council has endorsed the 2022/23 and 2023/24 pay deal put to Trade Unions by the Government for colleagues in England.

The pay deal will be implemented for staff employed on Agenda for Change NHS Terms and Conditions of Service.  It is anticipated that the pay award for both years will be implemented in June 2023, along with arrears from 1st April 2023 for the 2023/24 uplift.

Devolved Administrations

Please note: the 2023 pay award for our colleagues in Northern Ireland is yet to be confirmed. As soon as NHSBT is informed of any pay award agreement for Northern Ireland we will communicate the details to colleagues as soon as possible.

Scotland

The Scottish Government has now agreed the 2023 pay award which is effective from 1 April 2023

Wales

The Welsh Government has agreed their 2023 pay award, which is an increase to all payscales of 5%.

In addition there will be a one off, prorated 'recovery payment' for staff employed on the Agenda for Change terms and conditions.

he Northern Irish Government has now agreed the 2022 pay award which is effective from 1 April 2022.
