- MSc in Applied Transfusion and Transplantation Science. NHSBT is working in partnership with the University of the West of England (UWE) to develop a new qualification. This will be launched in Sept 2021. Further details can be found on the flyer
- IBMS Specialist Diploma. The IBMS Specialist Diploma is a specialised professional qualification. It is aimed at early career biomedical scientists who are working towards a band 6 specialist role.
- BBTS Specialist Certificate in Transfusion Science Practice. The Specialist Certificate in Transfusion Science Practice is designed for UK Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Biomedical Scientists (BMS). It is designed for scientists working in transfusion science either in a blood establishment (blood centre) or a hospital transfusion laboratory.
- BBTS Specialist Certificate in Stem Cell Science. This course is for healthcare scientist staff working within stem cell laboratories or those who have an interest in stem cell or bone marrow transplantation.
