Organisational Change

NHSBT recognises that our employees are our most valuable resource, and we are committed to providing a stable working environment and job security wherever possible.  When our employees are potentially affected by change our Organisational Change Policy provides a framework that will be applied.

Where organisational change is necessary, we will maintain a focus on the retention of skills, experience and knowledge; taking all practicable steps to minimise any adverse effects on our employees while ensuring that wherever possible we avoid, reduce and mitigate redundancies.

Before implementing any change that would affect terms and conditions, pay or working arrangements contact HR Direct for advice and guidance.

For details on current organisational change programmes go to the Change Programme pages - please note, you will need to be connected to the NHSBT network in order to view these pages.

For details on redeployment support go to the Redeployment support page

To ensure that the appropriate resources are allocated, the HR lead must complete the Notification of Change Programme.

An Equality Impact Assessment will need to be completed. Guidance is available to you to help support you include what you will need to consider for an EIA for Organisational Change.
